5. On the alfa cruise control stalk, use terminal removal tool and extract the cables and pins. 6. Cut stalk cables, ensure to leave enough to allow you to extend the cables to the fuse box area. 7. Using the wiring diagram, connect 4 if the extended stalk cables to the black connector found at the fuse box.. As has already been suggested by @Ocwobio, the x250 stalk is probably electrically incompatible with your x244. However a cruise control sqib removed from this, or similar Alfa 147 assembly, could be fitted to the x244 as shown on attached photo. I find that the Alfa squib is easier to use than the standard fitment on two other non Fiat vehicles.

Having read all that there is to read on installing cruise control to the X244 Ducato using the Alfa Romeo 147 stalk, has anyone figured out how to do the same utilising the FIAT 500 stalk due to it looking the same as the column controls of the x244?
